the story is basically about reincarnation. Theres this girl named "jane", she lost her memories and shes lost out on the street and she have no idea who or where she is. The married couple who found her decided to take her in as a foster child, and at the same time was in the process of adopting her. However, the girl is somewhat strange, because all these reincarnation spirits kept going through her bodies. But the reincarnation spirits are spirits of girls who was murdered by their mothers in their previous life. So in this case, the girl Jane who gets adopted to paul and carol, carol becomes her adopted mother. Therefore when a reincarnated spirit enters Jane's body, they are out for revenge on their mother, which is Carol. Sounds strange, but the story itself was pretty intensifying. All though it all Paul and Carol's house went through some poltergeist effect which enhances the horrifying story. Overall this was a pretty good scary novel. I recommend this book to anybody
