I have agreed to produce this book for Dean with the understanding that Charnel House is not held responsible for any death and or disaster that may occur from having read these verses. Dean says that he has rendered the book relatively safe, however, and with all due respect, look what happened to him! So...I�ll publish it--I�ll even design the first half of the book which is Dean�s new introductions, commentary, and acute warnings why you shouldn't read the book you just bought. You�ll like that. Hell, I�ll even reproduce the original 1928 binding and faithfully reset the second half of the book--the dreaded verses, but if you decide to read the damn thing then you�re on your own and I don�t want to hear about it. Camelot Books has a copy for $250 dollars.
Frankly considering the importance and rarity of this book a bargain. Collectors worldwide are begining to see the importance of this volume as the connecting thread between the many Koontz works. This book has it all, historical relevance , limited production,and the authors signature.
If you dont have one now...you might never get the chance.
The book has doubled in value since issue at $100 one year ago and quite frankly that will only accelerate in the coming years.

Current price of the book of Counted... IS $1,100 US Dollars...values will top out around $2000 dollars in 2008
If you can get a copy...and some will change hands at a premium privately for many times more...

Most people who order Generic Viagra online do it for some special reason or the other; either they don't have the guts to walk up the counter with a prescription to buy cheap Viagra or there are no regular pharmacies nearby. the book of counted sorrows has not been published.. koontz made all of the poems up. he's goin to publish it when there's enough poems. so dont send this guy money..cuz it dont exist

I recently came across a couple Books of counted sorrows from a book dealer. I've seen this book selling for $250 so that's what I'm asking for. I'm listing them on E-bay. If your interested I only have a few copies. Once there gone, I don't know where to get more.

Anyone who does not have the Charnell house copy of the Book of Counted Sorrows in their collection will be kicking themselves in the future. This one book has a singular place in the history of Koontz novels.
The univeral thread that ties the splendid stories together.
If you have a copy your very lucky and very smart.
The Charnll house signed copies will double in value evey year until they reach around $2000 a copy or the issue price of the letter edition. After 2007 it will be how much do want to pay ? That said Camelot books has a copy for $250 dollars.. that book will be $500 dollar next year
So the question is how much can you afford to wait.

http://www.abebooks.com is listing at least 2 copies for sale.. from 350-1200 dollars US..
The price of this book will not stop increasing in value until the $5000 US Mark is met.
In twenty years my personal prediction is 50-60 thousand dollars for pristine copies... wait and see

The Book of Counted Sorrows is still out there for the serious collector...ODD THOMAS Charnell house edition is also going to be a REAL collectors prize..Low production numbers..Artistic and technical merit..
