As the girl crumples, he debates on letting her drop or catching her. He holds fast to her small frame, lest her dropping be a ruse. He tucks the gun in his waistband then lifts her so she can be carried. Surrounded by the others that'd come, he carries her effortlessly back to the hangout, depositing her in a room distant from the entrance on the top floor. There was a grungy, unused mattress where he dropped her, and room for whatever ammenities she required to consider the space 'home'. Blade and Flame remain to watch the girl, so when she awoke she wouldn't escape with ease.
