A war raged, in a land far away from Loc Navari. An invading military, severely outnumbering those who protected. Spears and arrows rained down onto the battlefield, the small force of merely 9,000 dropping like flies onto the grass. The other, an advanced army with nearly 20,000 men merely marched on, scoffing at it's retreating enemy. The men ran up the hill, screaming in fear, the sun beginning to set on the horizon, when a group of figures on horseback rose over the hill, their silhouette in the reddish-orange sun. One man stood at their head, long crimson hair flowing in the sunlight. Two slits of gold rose in his shadowed silhouette, and widened, as he looked down at the scene of carnage, his dark brown stallion winnying, and kicking it's feet in the door.

Kazaya Toyotomi.

He clenched his palm around the saya at his hip, light armor over his wrists, and left shoulder.
"HYAAH!" He yelled, his horse lifting up on it's hind legs, before dropping into a dead sprint down the hill, followed by the other hundred or so men. The reatreating soldiers saw this, and were rallied with courage, and turned back, behind the stampeding force. The larger army flooded over the landscape, unwavering. Kazaya unsheathed his blade, and struck down dozens of men, as he rode past them, narrowed golden eyes never blinking.
A massive spear flew from the line of the enemy military, and slammed into Kazaya horse, sending it dropping to the ground. Kazaya braced his feet on it's saddle, and sent himself high into the air, coming down and slaying yet another man. He sheathed his sword, as he eyed two enemy soldiers who were quickly approaching him, despite seeing the trail of bodies behind him.
"You want my blood...? You'll have to work for it."
One of the daring soldiers ran forward, sending his sword at Kazaya. Kazaya flicked the tsuba of his sword with his thumb, pushing his blade a few inches out of it's sheath, putting the handle into his right hand... Before

* TING *

Kazaya paused, as the soldier's sword split half. He was stunned, stumbling back, eyes widened in fear. His expression calmed though, a slight smile rising on the soldier's face. Kazaya quirked a brow, curious of why his fear had simply disappeared, when...

Kazaya's eyes widened at the blade passed through the left of his upper body. Blood streamed out of the wound, down his chest. Kazaya let out a yell, not sure of the wound would be his end or not. He pivoted his left shoulder forward, removing the blade of the third party from his shoulder. He pivoted back, slamming his armored fist onto the back of the sword, knocking it towards the ground. His blade flung forward, into the chest of the one who had originally attempted to slay him, then, slashed sideways, sending splattering blood into the other's eyes. Kazaya arched backwards, putting the tip of his blade into the top of the head of the one who had came behind him, and then slashed downwards, taking his blade into, and down the shoulder of the original other. The three bodies fell around him, as his eyes such, a bit of blood dripping from his lip. He fell to his knees, around the scene, who's tables were turning, the smaller army gaining the advantage against the larger. Kazaya fell onto his chest, breathing heavily. He spotted a dead messenger at his side, and quickly grabbed up a piece of paper, and his pen...

"Dear Krys,
I believe my time has come. ::Blood dripped from his chest, a few droplette's finding their way onto the dirty paper.:: I love you with all my heart and soul... I'm so sorry I can't be there for you now, when you need it most. I'm so sorry. I wish I could've been there to help you raise your child, and live the rest of my life with you. Wishes I can't achieve, now. I love you so much... I love-- ::He let out a light groan, before he collapsed onto the paper, having lost too much blood to stay consious.::
