He didn't know what to do with her, but he felt badly about the kid. He hadn't been overly attached to it, but she had. She'd gone through a lot to save his job, even though she really didn't have to. In a way, he owed her. A frown crossed his handsome, chisled face as he leaned over the fence, watching the horses with a quiet, contemplating gaze.
