"That was a fun trail ride, next time let's do x country," Melanie said as she dismounted. They chatted as they cooled their horses off together, then groomed them. Princess and Rosie whinnied to each other as they were led to their paddocks. "They're friends already," Mel giggled as she turned her Arabian out. She & Bogsdan were headed to the office to grab a drink when Jenny stopped them. "Melanie, I know you haven't cleaned your tack yet. Now get on it. You too Bogsdan." "Ok, ok, can we get a drink first?" Melanie begged. Jenny bought them each a coke from the machine and they went into the tack room. They sipped their icy beverages as they sponged the tack. "So, what do you like to do with Rosie?" Melanie asked, wiping off her bridle. "I love doing eventing with Princess. She's still a little green in some areas, but she's got lots of potential and she listens to me. My parents show eventers."
