Directed toward Melissa Jones: Melissa sweetie I don't know what planet you're from but Janet Jackson is NOT ugly and never has been. She is a beautiful, sensitive and sensual Black woman and just about everyone else on the planet thinks so. This makes you in the minority. I will not take away from Britney...she is very pretty, fairly talented and is in great shape, but you don't have to take from Janet to uplift Britney. Britney, while beautiful and semi-talented, is still a Janet wannabee...using Janet's dance moves and even her song concepts (Nasty Boys...could she have been less conspicuous?)..she obviously wants to be Janet. And it is a known fact that Justin likes Black women and had a crush on Janet. He was just biding his time with Britney until the real thing came along...and she did! I think they make a great couple. Janet may be 36, but have you seen her body? She has the body of a 20 year old! Age is a state of mind! You can be in your 30's (which I am) and feel like you are in your 20's (which I do)...so don't knock her for staying eternally young and beautiful. When you are 36 Mel...which I can tell you are NOT...you'll see how it feels to be 36. In our 30's, we are of course older and wiser but we are only as old as we feel. And if you choose to see 36 as being over the hill, you will be over the hill at 36. For the rest of us, it's feeling like you're 20 without the pangs of being 20. To Janet and Justin I say...feel free to love one another.
