My great grandparents were WILLIAM SOMMERVILLE & JANE (or Jeanie) McFARLANE. William's parents were David Sommerville & Catherine Ballantyne. Jane's parents were John McFarlane & Margaret McKnight. Hi I read you Smellie family history and saw the name Ann Leishman. I was wondering if you know who her parents were. I am compiling a Leishman web site and I am currently collecting info on Leishmans who they married and their children so I can add them to the site.
Any help would be appreciated.

I also am researching this family, my husband is a descendant of William's brother Robert. Will try your email later when on my main computer but Trish Carlile I would love to contact you as John and Robert both settled in New Zealand as far as my research has told me and would love to contact you.
