Here is a draft of the guidelines for the acting chairman

ACTING CHAIRMAN GUIDELINES

The chairmanship of the Rules Subcommittee rotates among members every two weeks. Above all, the Chairman is responsible for ensuring that all players' issues are addressed on a timely basis; prioritizing agenda items to be discussed; and making sure that communications from the Subcommittee to the players and to the Rules Committee are uniform and reflect the concensus of all subcommittee members.

The Acting Chairman of the Subcommittee is specifically responsible for managing the completion of the following tasks:

1. Monitoring of Cases Ladder forum for posts by players that address ANY issues, concerns or problems.

2. Monitoring of the Rules Committee Forum for same.

3. Monitoring of the Rules Subcommittee email.

4. Ensuring that all player issues, concerns, or problems directed to subcommittee members are posted for discussion in the private Committee Forum.

5. Overseeing and managing in the private forum the process of choosing, discussing, and finalizing Agenda items to be presented to the Rules Committee.

6. Submitting the proposed Agenda to the Rules Committee Chairman by midnight ET each Sunday.

7. Informing subcommittee members of changes in times/dates/locations of subcommittee meetings.

8. Chairing the Sunday night subcommittee meeting.

9. Submitting a full transcript of the meeting to the webmaster for posting on the website.

10. Assigning/ensuring the attendance of at least one subcommittee member at each Rules Committee meeting.

11. Briefing/debriefing the succeeding Acting Chairman on the status of all Chairman duties.
