Mcdonalds canada settled out of course a court case, they were being sued bya group of vegetarians who claimed that macs fries which macs claimed were"specially selected potatoes cooked in 100% pure vegetable oil"..were in fact laced with powdered beef tallow...as a flavour enhancer

mcdonalds denied this completely and fought the case tooth and nail untill it was obvious they were going to lose...

all along the kep trefusing to let anyone see their corporate "recipes" or to let anyone know what was in the chips

an independent lab found the chips were indeed laced and coated with heavily processed powdered beef tallow and other chemicals which were never identified..

at this point mcdonalds offered the plaintiffs a rather large settlement and that was the end of it...

a while later mcdonalds quietly announced its fries were not suitable for a meat free diet....

and would comment no further...

i havnt used anything except a toilet in a macdonalds since my sister worked there 5 years ago...
she has never eaten there since either...
