the protester was armed with a fire extinguisher

he had smashed out the back window of the vehicle with the fire extinguisher and was about to hurl it thru the smashed windpw
so obviously the person with the machine gun had no chice but to shoot him dead
after all he had a fire extinguisher!
and ,of course once shot with a machine gun...he might have got up and tried to kill the brave men with the fire extinguisher again!
so no choice but to reverse and run over him!
after all,he had a fire extinguisher!

and there were important people to protect somewhere...
