and i saw Miss Cackle last night as she looked 15 years ago
in a canadian movie called "the marriage bed" made in 1986.

Clare Coulter played the role of "margaret",the stars good friend...
She has tons of lines and scenes and its a really good part
she would have been around 44-45 when this was made and there wasnt a trace of miss cackle in Clare Coulter in 1986...
she was quite slim with dark shoulder length brown hair

and her voice was very soft and young sounding

(in the movie her character is having an affair with a long lost first love even tho shes been married for 20 years!)

it also stars some of Canadas most respected stage and screen actors of the time:

Linda Griffiths (whose acting style reminds me a bit of a certain
Miss J. Fox ;)(in other words shes damned good)

Jan Rubes

Sheila Mcarthy

and
RH Thompson....
