Subject: goth is as goth does...

hmmm - I'm pondering bout some stuff just now...
I'm going to visit a big goth festival next weekend...
and either I could travel with some folks in a rather crammed car on Thursday - and I really don't want to go there that early - and there are so many people that we can hardly take any luggage...which would be pants, as I always take heaps of luggage..
and then I can share a room with TWO guys - one of them, I'm sure, will be bound to be of a snoring nature... and I might get tempted to take some drastic measures against them...
or I could travel with some other guy on Friday and share a room with him... a cheaper room by the way, which would be fine, as I'm broke... but this hotel - I have been there before and it's got those iron staircases which will be rather noisy - and as people will be filing in and out all night, you can't get any sleep for four days...
yes, I know, you'll say: "But Cat, you never sleep!"
Contrariwise, dear friends - I DO sleep, but during days usually - but there will be no chance of getting some sleep in that hotel, no matter which time of day you'll try to get some...
the first room is in the center of the city - which would be fine, again, as I won't have to rely on anybody driving me to and fro -
the second room is at the outskirts which would take endless driving to go to the place where the concerts and other gloomy gothic frolicking will take place...
now I wonder...
whither shall I wander???
that's a bother...
(oh,yes, I could also travel with some girl and share a room at her friend's apartment... but she doesn't know whether she shall go to that festival anyway, as she might be due to do some work that weekend...)

you know, I keep asking myself why I want to go there at all..as it's expensive and crowded and lots of stress...
ummm - yes, cause I would be all lonely that weekend as every available goth will be there anyway...
and besides I've been there for four years in a row... and it's bad to break a great tradition..
furthermore I shall be buying lots of incense, maybe a candlestick and more goth garments... (though I must remember not to eat anything for five days to save money, then)
two years ago - or was it three? i nicked a broken tombstone at one of those festivals..
now there's plenty of reasons to go there... but which room shall I choose??
