Subject: Could some of you old timers help us new guys out

we were sort of referred here, and reading over the posts, it seems a bit difficult to follow some of what you're talking about without some background.

For example, I've seen 'greeb'/'greebster' mentioned a few times, but have no reference as to what is being discussed.

You also seem to have an interest in some aspect of the literary world, but I am not familiar with much of what is being mentioned.

Anyone that has the time, if you could give a rundown of your recurring and/or related topics and such it would be appreciated.
