I haven't seen the movie, but I know the books (by E. Nesbit by the way - the same one who wrote Phoenix and the Carpet =)
Alice is the younger sister who's into mischief with her four bros mostly... keeps her hair short, is a tomboy and quite handy to have around in a fight =)
and the older one is Dora...
She is... good and prim mostly...
