The LORENZ LATIN DANCE STUDIO, 65-52 Myrtle Avenue, Glendale, is Queens #1 PREMIER Latin Dance Studio, specializing in Salsa "On 2" (N.Y. Style). This style of dance, also called Nightclub "On 2", has gained and continues to gain an increased popularity in New York City, and all over the world! Our LADIES SALSA STYLING CLASS is held every third Sunday of each month. The next class is Sunday, July 17th. Due to the increased number of students attending these styling classes, we have decided to separate the Workshop into two classes: The 2:00 – 3:45 pm class will be for beginners; and from 3:45 – 5:15 pm, this class will be for intermediate students of salsa. Admission is $15.00 (If you attend both classes, its only $25). This specialized workshop is given by our TWO top female instructors/stylists -- Get TWO for the price of ONE! Look great on the dance floor as you learn all the tricks and techniques!
This Workshop consists of an intense 1 ˝ hours of female salsa styling. Learn the HOTTEST styling moves around! Our two instructors (back from their performances at the Washington D.C. and Boston Salsa Congresses) explain, demonstrate and break down, very simply, how to enhance the basic steps, cross body leads, under arm turns, open breaks and much more!
They thoroughly describe how to add arm, finger and shoulder styling, head tossing and hip and leg styling to your dancing and show you in a simple manner how to apply attitude to your dancing and how to improve your posture. Our stylists will make the beginners feel comfortable with their bodies, demonstrating basic arm and hand movements! You won’t find a better class around….
