Subject: Just arrived

(OOC:Lovely sight, by the way)

A gorgeous blue roan mare crested the hill and stopped, shaking her silky mane. She looked around. Everywhere she saw lush, thick green grass and just loking at it made her want to eat it. She paws the ground and raised her vision furhter. The island was larger - and every bit of it a place to be treasured. So far she hadn't seen another horse but she was sure they were here - hoofprints had been on the beach from where she'd came.

She pawed the ground lightly with a dark, perfect hoof, then whinnied and launched herself into a race down the hill, mane and tail streaming behind her like banners. There was nothing more in the world she liked to do than run - and to a stallion there was no more perfect creation than the sight of her, dark pistons flying, head high and ears pricked.

Once at the bottom she slowed to a canter and went over to the clear pool of water, then dipped her head to drink. Ever watchful, of course.
