She had to agree with Desert Rose on one thing at least: it really did seem like they were crowding them. So, nudging Rose lightly, One for Sorrow suggested,
"Lets take a walk. We can get to know one another and hopefully get that good for nothing stallion, Sulton, away from us for a little bit." And the bay mare began to walk off, hoping Rose would follow. It was clear that Sorrow also disapproved of Sulton and would show it to his face should the moment arise.
"Phew... I must admit, though, there are some fine stallions around here. Not like Sulton. I wouldn't think anyone would like to pair with him. A rude fellow!" she snorted and turned to look at Rose, her warm, dark eyes kind.
