OK no offense but you are an idiot RON! Clear Channel does NOT OWN THE STATION THAT HAD THE " cartoon taking a leak" THE station you and dumb one ERIK are talking about is known as Cajun Communications. Before I go much further on that allow me to say I flipped and heard your news this morning you made several mispronunciations of local names and several parishes. ANY AIR TALENT ON A HIGH WATTAGE STATION SHOULD HAVE ENOUGH BRAINS/CONCERN FOR THE AREA THEY LIVE IN. It really concerns me that so many children listen to your station and find you informative?!?! This must be the reason why when we go to teach them and they say things wrong they can fall back on "well I heard it on the radio... the guy from the morning show said it(Duh huh)" AHHHHHH there's some intellegence in there somewhere at least they don't plagerise. Speaking of which next time you do news and read from the TOWN TALK call for a pronunciation guide... PLEASE! Now continuing from what I said earlier... before you trash another station check your facts the only reason you were not beat was based solely on where arbitron books are deliverd. This last SPRING book went to Avoyelles. GIVE me a break... KSMB in LAFAYETTE killed you in the ratings in Lafayette .... oh your signal doesnt reach that far???? Well then dont brag about your ratings when books hit Avoyells ( btw pronounce ah - voy- ells). Your signalreaches clearly there and the other stations didnt. Look at facts your listeners range from 9-18. The other station's audience is for ADULTS. You need to learn your market RON. I did radio for 11 years before teaching, I at least studied the area and never stooped to "second grade level" by bashing, misquoting, slandering other Morning show host and putting my stations owners to shame by having vicious, malicious, spiteful rages ON AIR like I have heard you do!!! This is why several PROFESSIONAL, ADULT, COLLEGE EDUCATED listerners have made the switch. Want to talk about maturity ... the other station is more mature. Obviously u know this .......well then again maybe you don't especially the way you whine about your listeners any adult should not be told when or when not to call in a bday request get a clue, get a degree, then get a profession which suits you maybe the IRS so you can bashon people's lives, ruin creditworthiness, mispronounce whatever you want whenvere you want and construde make believe tales such as YOU ARE NUMBER 1!
