They're up most of the night and early in the morning counting your votes. And because the winner is driven by votes then yes, it's a popularity contest now. The talent of the people got them where they are, now they are just relying on votes. We know the final 2 are the best of the best already, or they wouldn't make it that far. Also, I would like to point something out. I don't know about my co-workers, but I will NOT take votes from people who aren't listeners of this station. I know when you are and when you aren't listening. Do NOT tell people a certain time to call and flood the lines with votes. I will not take them. Ron will announce on the air at sporadic times during the day when to call in, so you need to listen in because you never know just when he'll pop in and say to call. Also, please don't call your entire extended family and tell them to call between 9:30 and 10 at night. Not only is that annoying, but it ties up the lines which are for more important things, like requests or games at the time. Please show some respect and tell everyone you know to just listen to us.
