Thanks to everyone who made it to the "Q Bash Before Christmas!" We hadda blast...seems like the crowd was NUTS for BFS and Bowling For Soup THEMSELVES loved ya'll for your love and support! Vision and 7 Locks didn't disappoint, either!!! Seems like they have a new batch of fans up in Natchitoches! Listen, seriously, thanks to the following folks for their assistance with making "Q Bash" the banner night it was...
* OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE - thanks for feeding the band and their two cute little fans (and their mom, too) along with our sales team and support staff!
* CLUB BEDROCK - couldn't have picked a better spot for this show! Your staff and management were VERY hospitable to both the station and the musicians!
* RYAN - thanks for piloting (along with your lady Angel) the band members to their dinner and the show...couldn't have done it w/out ya.
* HOLLYWOOD - thanks for hosting the first-ever "Q LIVE FROM THE LOBBY" with Bowling For Soup...it sounded GREAT! They enjoyed the session...the kids appreciated it, too...it was your idea and it was well-done by you, as well.
* SARAH, JEN,TISH, TOMMIE etc. - It was great having folks from the staff there. A "team" effort is always a winner.
* CHARLIE & TAYLOR - couldn't have done it if ya hadn't let us, "bosses!"
* CANDADCE & SYBIL - sold a good deal of advance tickets!
* THE LISTENERS - you let us know that you LIKED this band enough to wanna see 'em,so we brought 'em - and most importantly - YOU CAME! Alexandria lacks a "live music scene" because of simple supply & demand economics....demand hasn't "begged" for the supply...and now we see that a good show WILL bring out the numbers. We'll keep doing it as long as you keep supporting it!
Thanks, again, to everyone who came and partied with us and Bowling For Soup! They were SO jazzed by our being there - knowing their lyrics, loving 'em like major rock stars (which they're on the cusp of being) and welcoming them to our area with open arms!
Keep your eyes on these guys....they were the most "added" band in the COUNTRY last week with radio stations picking up "Girl All The Bad Guys Want" (only about 4 months after we did....what can we say - you guys liked 'em before any other radio audience!) and they're going "big time" now! Without you guys constantly clogging the request lines for them, their record label might not have realized their "potential." That just shows you that calling in your favorite requests DOES matter...keep that in mind when you hear something you REALLY like!
