Subject: A sober breakfast at the halfling farm

ooc: Aldrai, please when posting, try not to do too many things that are not within your character's control. I've cautioned others about that as well, since it might cause something to happen that's totally impossible to fit in with the story line, or next you'll have players wandering around writing things like 'I walk along the street and suddenly find a pouch filled with gold!' Okay, that's an exaggeration, but you know what I'm trying to say here. Luckily, this doesn't give you any advantage and I can fit it into the story line, so I'll use it to go on. Just be careful when taking on actions that aren't your character's to make. In general I don't encourage this too much since it can lead to a rather big mess. Oh well, no harm done. Now, what do you say we wrap this halfling farm up? :)

ic:
Everyone is quiet during the well made breakfast after Aldrai's words. At first the halfling children swarm around the guests, but a few more or less discreet signals from their parents quickly subdue the playful horde and drive them back into their seats.
The five adventurers sit and eat in silence mostly, even though the bread is freshly baked and the cheese and ham taste outstanding.
Once everyone is done eating, the five slowly get up from the table to thank the farmer and his wife for their hospitality. When Baraka mentions that not all the bags have been moved from the shack yet, the farmer's wife merely laughs and says: "Don't you be worrying about that now, my Finan has been getting a little too well fed lately. He could use a little excersize." She pokes her husband in the stomach with her index finger and laughs as he makes a face.
As the five step outside the farm, Sythion says: "It looks to me like we can now either find who- or whatever killed Aldrai's horse or move on to the sage. What do you plan to do? I'm leaning towards the old sage myself, but if you all stay here to search I will join you."
A slight smile forms on his lips.
"After all, you people are now the only family I have and I don't much fancy wandering through these lands alone."

ooc: Please pick what you want to do now. (If you wish to split up, or even go for private adventures, you're free to do so)
