Subject: Goblins, now you see 'em and now you don't.

The fight continues.
Baraka, still high up in his tree, quickly begins rustling the branches of the tree, shaking them as he tries to make himself as small a target as possible for the goblin below. Leaves, twigs and a multitude of other small things come raining down onto the goblin. He curses as something gets caught in his eye and begins to rub it, trying to clear his sight again.
At that very moment, Aldrai, who'd broken off a branch of the tree she was in, jumps down on top of the goblin, the stick pointed downwards. His functional eye just catches a glimpse of the shape decending upon him from behind and the goblin opens his mouth to yell out as he spins around to face his attacker.
However, gravity beats his vocal chords to the punch and there's a sickening sound of wood penetrating flesh as Aldrai's makeshaft weapon pierces the goblin's chest.
Disbelief in his eyes, the goblin takes a few wobbly steps backwards, drops the dagger he was holding and slowly closes his hands around the part of the branch sticking out of his chest. Slowly, blood begins to ooze from his mouth and he falls to the ground, landing on his back. He continues to try to remove the stick from his chest, but it looks like the life force is quickly leaving him.

Meanwhile, Krinin and the goblin warrior were still engaged in a struggle for control of the sword, but things began to look pale for the young lad. Agonizingly slow, the goblin blade comes closer and closer to his neck and the goblin warrior, lying on his back, pushing up the blade, begins to grin as he smells that victory might be near.
Enoya reached her blade, picked it up and began to rush back to Krinin, aware that she might not make it back in time although only a dozen or so feet seperated her from the strugling duo.

Some distance away from Tukatula by now, the strange man continued bravely duelling with the goblin warrior and was slowly but surely pushing him back across the grass field.

Tukatula himself was busy as well. Having freed himself from his canine attacker, and having witnessed the gruesome fate of the strange man that tried to attack the goblin warrior from behind, he was now rushing towards the hooded goblin, whose attention was still focused on the screaming man who lay on his back, kicking and screaming in agony.
Tukatula could see the hooded goblin's eyes flaring up yellow underneath his hood and a small but undeniable sadistic smile curled his lips upwards. The goblin was enjoying watching the man suffer.
Focused as he was on Tukatula, the goblin leader didn't notice Tukatula approaching until it was too late. His eyes widen and the light radiating from them fades out as he quickly raises his arms in front of his face to defend against Tukatula's blow.
As Tukatula´s polearm lands on the goblin leader's arm, something unexpected happens. The goblin's mind may be powerful enough to work strange magic, as it turns out, his body is weak and frail.
There is a loud snapping sound and the hooded goblin screams out in pain as the polearm breaks his left forearm.
Caught somewhat by surprise by the result of his blow, Tukatula quickly raises his polearm to strike again. But before he can bring the polearm down on his opponent again, the goblin leader quickly yells a few incomprehensible words across the field and a moment later, all traces of the goblins and their wovles are gone. No smoke, no nothing. Only the bewildered combattants and the dead goblin that Al'thaes killed remain. Even the wounded goblin at the base of Aldrai´s tree is gone.

Al'thaes, who'd just decided to try to drop himself on top of the second goblin he was facing, blinked his eyes as his adversary disappeared before his eyes and he landed face down in a small puddle of mud.
Grumbling, he gets to his feet again and surveys the battle field.
From a distance, he can see the man he knows as Ophan approaching him again, sheething his sword and looking as bewildered as Al'Thaes feels. Between him and Ophan, the shape of another man lies on the grass and Al'Thaes' breath halts for a moment as he realizes that it can only be Dixian. He slowly approaches the badly burnt man and to his amazement, he finds that Dixian is not dead yet. His chest is still moving up and down slowly, but judging from the grating sounds his lungs produce with every breath of air they take in, his death will only be a matter of minutes.
