Subject: The grief (goblin group)

Baraka and Aldrai

omewhere high up in the foliage of the trees, a bird was singing a beautiful, fragile song, the notes rolling from it's beak like the clearest mountain water. Suddenly, it stopped to look down. There, far below it, was a young girl, crying as she leaned against the trunk of the tree. A moment later, a boy of about the same age quietly (for human standards anyway) walked up to her, followed by a creature that looked like a mixture between a dog and a human.
"Are you okay?" Krinin softly asks Aldrai as he crouches to his heels next to her, "Please don't cry... What that man said was very rude, but he blames us for the death of his friend. He must be very upset now..."
Krinin searches for words to say but appears lost. He looks up at Baraka pleadingly.

Tukatula and Al'Thaes

Ophan looks around the clearing, his eyes going over the scene but it does not look as if he's noticing anything.
Finally, he lifts his head up again and faces the two remaining people with him.
"I..." he hesitantly begins to say, "I'm... sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you people like that... I just... well, Dixian was a good friend of mine. I'm very sorry he's gone."
As quickly as it came, the hostility leaves Ophan's eyes and he demurely asks the two with him: "Please, could you help me bury him?"
