Gornul, Kripp, Eliet

Gornul reaches down to the rat to see what it has in it's mouth. The rat bends over and drops a small, round object on the floor. It appears to be somekind of opal, though it could just as easily be a strange pearl of some sort. The outside of the object is transparent and inside the small ball you can see shades of purple and dark blue slowly swirling inside their shell. It feels smooth to the touch, but apart from the strange colouring inside, it might just be a child's toy or a marble, left there by some careless child.
The rat scurries away a few paces under the table, where it sits for a moment and tilts it's head slightly, looking at Eliet as if it wonders what all the fuss is about. It then disappears into a small hole in the floor underneath the table.
Ula, the halfling priestess, missed the short appearance of the rat entirely as she was looking at Kripp at the time. She looks at the three assembled adventurers.
"I'll have some dinner brought to your room in a moment," she says and signals one of the priests that carried Eliet's field bed, who leaves the room, "Is there anything else you might need or want to know? If not, I wish you a good night and a tasty meal and we will talk more in the morning."
