What you need to do, from my own experience, is get a book. It is my understanding, though I may be wrong about this, that there is a difference between Wiccan and Pagan. Wiccan deals with white magick while pagan deals with black but like I said I may be wrong so go buy a book.

Hi Sarah
I am still learning myself but I have learned alot from the internet, books, and the dictionary. Pagan basically means the belief of something other than Christianity, Islamic, or Jewish faiths, a name assigned by the forementioned. Wicca is just a style of the craft, and a term that doesn't temd to scare the crap out of everyone who doesn't understand what Witchcraft is. Search under: Wicca, Witchcraft, the craft, paganism, occult, Italian Witchcraft... There are many different traditions, so you can look into each of them and decide what appeals to you. One of the best books I was ever recommended to get was: WICCA, A GUIDE FOR THE SOLITARY PARACTITIONER, BY SCOTT CUNNINGHAM. He is a Wiccan, but explains the differences in the different traditions and kind of guides you in your first steps. Most public book stores will carry this, and it is probably on the net too. There is so much out there these days, and if you keep your eyes open you will probably find out that you already know a few witches. I hope you find what you're looking for. Blessed Be!
