Women as human beings should be equal, but we are not the same. Men and women are very different creatures in many ways.

As for the feminist movement, I think its been beneficial in education, human rights, creating higher expectations for women's success. But as a militant movement, it can be exclusionary and off-putting. I think that its a step towards balancing the genders, but its only one point on the evolution of equality. I hope that somewhere down the line equal but different is the standard and people are comfortable with that, but we aren't there yet.

(I've been buying a house, selling a house and getting ready to move, so I haven't been around much).
