I can see getting a breast job done when there is something unusual happening (very large, very small, asymmetry, mastectomy, etc.) In fact, I can plastic surgery for any anomaly. And I get what your dad did, too (losing the pounds was certainly healthier than keeping it and not having the surgery!)

I don't get people in the normal category getting procedures done. A 65 yo woman with wrinkles is normal, too, btw. :-)
