That's a good idea, but I am glad our store didn't do it. We used to convince the boss to buy a single copy of something he otherwise wouldn't (nothing extremely art house... I think Four Weddings and a Funeral might even have been one! But stuff like You Can Count on Me maybe--stuff that isn't going to go out every night like Spiderman or Star Wars will.)

Sure enough, every copy made the money back doubled or tripled. We bought a zillion copies of True Lies and I'm not sure they all made their money back.

Anyway, I don't know that our customers would have voted for more obscure things, but they rented them enough to make a single copy worthwhile.
