I was asking about bands, but the list of solo artists would be huge for me, too...

I'd add Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Billy Bragg, Elvis Costello, Tom Petty and Celine Dion. Ok, that last one was a joke, I can't stand Celine Dion.

Oh, and to the bands I'd add Live (Lightning Crashes is the best song ever) and The Matthew Good Band. And to songs, the Eagles' Hotel California.
