You ARE arguing a straw man, because you're intimating that I've called for the decimation of black culture. That isn't what I've said at all--I have said that it will be a Good Thing for people to be judged based on attributes other than skin colour. I think I echo the sentiments of a great black leader, only he had more faith that people could become colourblind to skin colour than I have.

My preference, obviously, would be for racism to stop because of enlightened attitudes. That is never going to happen--we're just tribal by nature and skin colour is a powerful way we innately sort people (if a completely nonsensical way).

So, making everyone more similar in appearance is still preferable to me than seeing people mistreated and harmed because of something expressed by, what, a single gene??
