It is POSSIBLE that Ted mistook Ghandia for his wife. It is also possible that he was making moves on her. If the latter is true, he's a sleaze, but not a rapist.

Ghandia says that she was raped and that people tell her she brings it on herself. Well, no woman deserves to be raped, so that is nonsense. But in this particular case, I would say that Ghandia has to accept responsibility for, as a married woman who apparently has only platonic feelings for Ted (apparently being the key here--I'd guess she was feeling ambivalence), snuggling with Ted, putting her hand on his thigh, and all the other physical activity which can send the signal that she is sexually interested in him.

So if Ted responded by grinding Ghandia (seems stupid, given it's all on tape and his wife could find out if the producers chose to reveal that), then he clearly has shaky morals where his wife is concerned, but as far as Ghandia is concerned did nothing wrong (IMO). If Ghandia responded with, "stop that right now" and he continued, then he's guilty of sexual harassment, clearly.

Regardless of the truth of Ted's motivations, Ghandia's response was ridiculous IMO. That beach tantrum (complete with rock throwing and weird name calling) was bizarre, to say the least. That's one dangerous woman, and as a feminist I would have to say that Ted was the one who was "abused" in this incident. And yeah, I was unimpressed with Helen, too. Way to assassinate someone's character.
