Well the US gumment may not be thrilled, but the citizens are!

I don't know. I've always thought of Canada as quite different from the US in a lot of ways. But since I've not actually been there, I'm also not the best judge. I think Canadians, like most of the world, seem to hate Americans, and I do, frankly, get a little tired of that ol' thing. It seems "in vogue" to hate America, which means that the legitimate problems with American foreign policy (and there are plenty) get overlooked because it's just those "foreign nations" bitchin as usual.

I tend to think of Canada as a more balanced culture in terms of cultural sensitivity. I also think it's more green, but again, I could be wrong.
