You know, if the police or child protective services in MS are aware of any allegations of child endangerment to a resident of their jurisdiction they are obligated to investigate those allegations and privide whatever protection to the victim the investigation substantiates. If you have reason to believe that a child in Mississippi is endangered I encourage you to contact the Mississippi Department of Human Services. Here's a link that explains how to report suspected child endangerment. http://www.mdhs.state.ms.us/fcs_prot.html From this link please note the following: "A report may be made to the local county Department of Human Services or to the Hotline, 1-800-222-8000, a statewide toll-free 24-hour line that is answered seven days a week."
