Here Jezus, zie ons staan
wij kijken Jou vol vertrouwen aan.

Zo veel pijn hebben wij geleden
zo'n zware strijd hebben wij gestreden.

Toch, met zo veel satan om ons heen,
Jij liet ons geen moment alleen.

Nu wij weer leven in Jouw Licht,
willen wij zeggen in dit gedicht:

Iedere gelaten traan geven wij aan Jou,
want Jij bleef ons altijd trouw.

Ons verdriet en onze tranen strijden met Jou in de geest,
zodat ons lijden nooit voor niks is geweest.

Jij weet alles van pijn en verdriet,
wij weten dat Jij recht in ons hart ziet.

Wij hoeven het niet aan Jou te vragen,
we weten dat we door Jou in dit verdriet worden gedragen.

Mocht het voor meer inzicht voor ons nodig zijn,
wij zijn bereid daarvoor te voelen nog meer pijn.

Wij danken Jou voor al Jouw Liefde aan ons gegeven,
en dat we in Jouw Licht mogen leven.
