Subject: Verlies en Moeite

Als met verlies niet meer valt te leven,
als je bij alles denkt het is me om het even.
Als je verdriet is vertaald in enorme lichamelijke pijn,
waar zou je dan nog willen zijn?

Op een plaats vredig, rustig, zonder al deze pijn,
dat zou de Hemel moeten zijn...
De hemel is nog lang niet voor me besproken,
ik moet het hier doen, verdrietig en gebroken.

En oh, ik probeer het uit alle macht,
te leven in liefde, vrolijkheid met al mijn kracht.
Maar soms voel ik me op deze manier
en heb ik in het leven niet zo veel plezier.
