Subject: Grounded! Yea!

My little brother's grades are so bad that he has been grounded from the TV until my parents see better grades. This is a good thing because he now has to find out how to do things that are creative. It's been about three weeks since he's been able to watch tv and he has learned how to make balloon animals, fold origami shapes & paper airplanes, cat's cradle (and other 'string tricks'), paint Christmas gifts, play chess and hangman (with me and other family members), he taught himself how to sew, and he quizzes my knowledge of science & history with this trivia game we have, we do science experiments sometimes and many other things. All this in just a few weeks! Wow!

However, sometimes I get angry with him because he ALWAYS begs me to do something with him, so I often tell him that he has to learn how to entertain himself sometimes. Good thing is, he's learned some things that he can make or do by himself and we give him activity kits and certain things like that to keep him busy when he's bored.
