Subject: Studying for the ACT Test

Hi,
I have to study for the ACT test in order to get into college and I'm really horrible at Mathematics! Especially Algebra. It's really quite pathetic. I need a definition for every Mathematical term. I need someone to explain every little thing to me because I am sooooo far behind when it comes to Math skills.

You know how commercials are, where the promise you instant success? Doesn't happen. And I wonder if I'm stuck in the 'commercial mentality'. I've stopped watching TV, (even though my parents watch it), but I can still feel its sinister effects upon my brain. Can my mind ever be renewed?

I've been fighting deperately against this lazy and tired mentality that I have, but it seems as if my brain is still half-narcotized. I'm so used to flashing images, although I never really liked the way the images went by so rapidly (especially with fast-paced commercials & cartoons).

Also, I haven't been in school for many months (ever since I graduated High School), so the ole 'gears' are a bit rusty, I must say!

I have to get my brain back in shape! I have to learn to concentrate harder! The test is in less than a month! And I have to learn Algebra from the very, very, very basic bottom of its foundation! (Plus geometry, grammar, physics, chemistry, and trigonometry!!!!!) All of those things I only know very partially about! HEEEEEEELP!

I can't learn all of this by May 21st! It's utter madness!
