Personally I think it depends on the city too. I didn't find the country boring, but right now I'm in a large city, Philadelphia, and I'm incredibly bored. I hate to say this but I think all people do here is watch t.v. But I suspect there may be other cities that I'd really enjoy. I'm hardly the only person that feels this way, Philadelphia has one of the worst rates of population decrease in the U.S. It's a problem they're working on, poor "quality of life" as they call it is one of the things they blame.
