i fear you may be right. i'm sure it's not the only reason but i suspect that the century before this one was considerably more well focused. issues of exhaustion from being over-sugared, over-caffeined, insomniacs... from bad eating habits due to new man-made diet options never available before, and other issues like when and where "the button" (nuclear weapons) will be pressed... could be contributing factors... technology, alone, advances daily, beyond out ability to morally or emotionally reason out & understand our own next move... i just bet that if they had a disorder called ADD in the century gone by - you would find the percentages were in huge contrast to this one. another reason i wonder if there is a way to reverse the trend of what we are doing to ourselves. (thanks for answering i was wondering if anyone would)
