Subject: being productive

I finally decided to disconnect my T.V. services the summer of 2003. Although there were a few quality networks, such as, The Discovery Channel, and The History Channel, it was not enough to justify paying cable companies a monthly charge to keep the idiot box on.
The deciding factor for my family and I were those stupid "reality shows". My family and I now use our time being creative, visiting friends, discussing books and other reading material. I would love to start a movement to urge others to do something creative and turn the idiot box off.
