Subject: Identify plant

Help! Does anyone know what plant has dark green shiney leaves that have points along the edge, and on each point it gets tiny sprouts that fall off and start new plants? It's a house plant and a few of the sprouts were given to me. They are growing about 3 or 4 inches tall now and already have started to get tiny new sprouts on the points of each leaf. I'd guess there are about a dozen or so points around each leaf. The leaves are longer than they are wide, and are slightly pointed.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Cindy

Sounds as if it could be Kalanchoe daigremontiana, also called Mother of Thousands because it produces so many baby plants. There's quite a lot of information and a pretty good picture on this page:

My plant sounds just like this but don't look like it. It has wider leaves. There's a better picture of my plant at www.glasshouseworks.com/succ-k.html The order for this plant is # 60386 I would like information on my plant and how to raise it. Please e-mail me soon.

Thanks, Lynette

I have a plant in my garden which i thought was a coryline. It is about 4 - 5 foot high, has yellow and green stripped, straight, fanned foliage, it is flat at one side as though it is growing against a wall (but it is'nt). In the last week or so it has produced one rather large, thick shoot which is red and yellow in colour and is about 7 ft high in total, it is higher than the foliage. It resembles 'a bird of paradise' but I thought these only grew in tropical areas. Can anyone help to identify this, your help would be appreciated.
