中醫西醫孰優孰劣？見仁見智，人體是一個構造遠勝於任何精密機器的組織，所以至今尚有許多人類醫學所不能及的疾病徵狀，基因解碼能解決所有謎題嗎？讓我們樂觀其成，不過在讚嘆西方醫學發達之際，讓我們以常識推想一下，醫學研究強調臨床試驗，西醫發展至今了不起幾百年光景，臨床案例不計其數，但是中國醫學難道就沒有臨床試驗嗎？從有歷史記載至今，中醫發展史少說也有兩千年以上，這些歲月累積的經驗難道如此牛步不前？古人該生過的病應該算來也不少，中醫技術傳承所累積的經驗也是不容抹煞與忽略，所以有成見的人請試著了解中醫的特性，當然外科手術開刀技術，西醫還是較中醫來得發達，這點識毋庸置疑的，本人摘錄兩篇網路文章供各位看倌參考。
