Subject: Swollen Fetlocks with Heat!

I'm looking at a 7 year old gelding Appaloosa who seems to have a swollen front left fetlock and the fetlock is also very hot. I had a experinced horse person come over and look at the horse but she said that it could be clubbed foot from the shape of his leg. But the ankle on his two front feet are each different shaped and he leans of his right leg to reduce weight from his left and when you try to lift his right legs he will refuse to lift it and put presure on his left leg. The previse owner said that the horse had been lame for a while but that she had rode the horse a lot this summer and fall.
