Subject: saddle fit

Hello everyone, I have a 9 year old Paint gelding. I was told by a horse trainer that the saddle I have been using for 5 years on him does not fit, it is pinching him. I have borrowed a couple of saddles to try on him without a pad and so I was wondering why is it that every saddle I put on him is tighter on one side than the other. The saddle I thought fit him well and after 5 years he just now came up with a dry spot. Could someone please help me with this. Thanks Krys
