I am not a so-called horse trainer but I have trained horses mostly my own. I have trained others. It sounds like what vyou need to do is to start back at the beginning with your horse: trail rides, etc. and use lots of love.

With regard to the notion that you spoil your horse, that's a bunch of nonsense. All of my horses are considered spoiled and they all work just fine for pleasure and competition but they have respect for me.

With regard to the trainer that severely mistreated your horse, I would strongly suggest that you file a complaint against the trainer as there is no reason to do what that trainer did to your horse. You may not be able to ev ere jump your horse again in the future as ytour horse may associate the mistreatment with jumping and completely refuse (out of fear) to jump. If you are considering working with your horse to jump again, you will need to take it very slow and exercise extreme patience with him.

I wish you good luck with your horse and if there is anything I can do for you, please e-mail me.
