Hi,
I ride all my Welsh ponies from 12hh to 13.3hh and I weigh over 140 lbs. They do just fine. We do ranch work and jumping, and a variety of other activities. I just make sure my saddle fits correctly and that thery are properly warmed up and cooled down each time...have fun riding!
