Subject: Respect or repulsed?

The scene fades in on a very simple setting. In the background is the UWF logo hanging on a hanging behind two people. The first is James Sinclair, standing in all of his cocky and confident glory, and standing next to him is Pantera, decked out in her usual wrestling gear of black boots, knee and elbowpads, wrist tape, and PVC-style leather leotard. Her hair is slicked back and in a ponytail, and she has her arms folded in front of her, looking somewhat serious. She makes a motion to someone off-camera and speaks.

Pantera: Let's get something straight right away. For a change I'm facing someone who doesn't have their head up their @ss and trying to come off as some kind of bad-@ss wrestler with all ego and no talent. Oops...did I just describe you, Shadow? Oops. No, I'm going to do things nice and simple and straight up, like my opponent for this week, Ghost Dancer. Just for the record....don't go with an image consultant, Ghost Dancer. You respect wrestling, you respect what it's all about and in turn, I respect you for that. No BS, nothing than just you and your talent.

A pause, and she begins slowly walking back and forth within the area of the frame, clearly thinking.

Pantera: That doesn't mean I liked what I heard when you decided you were going to become Slime Chaser instead of Ghost Dancer. Let's hear from you, Ghost Dancer, not some dumbass script writer who you wanted to beat up anyways. I'm not gonna stand here and insult you. There's no point in that. I'm here to make a name for myself, and making the final eight in the Race is a start. Having a match against you is another. We're both new to UWF, and from what I can see, we're some of the better wrestlers here.

She pauses to smile arrogantly at the camera and then to James Sinclair before speaking again.

Pantera: The point is, I wanted and I got a match against a wrestler, not one of these overblown, overrated so-called 'veterans' from other feds. Why should I give a damn who Outlaw or Casanova beat before now? Isn't the point that UWF is where it's at? That they asked for and got the best? Sure as hell Denslow isn't gonna put up with any crap, and I give the man respect for that. And now I got Ghost Dancer. If it were up to me, I'd make this a best of five series. This is what UWF is all about, people. It's about two people getting in the ring, and one person walking away the winner. Not talking ghetto slang to look tough or have cred, or trying to 'rule' the fed that gives you your paycheque every week. It's about wrestling, and that's what I'm here to do. So there's no flashy camera angles, no smart mouth comments and no need to do anything other than tell Ghost Dancer I want this match, I'm going to give it nothing less than one hundred percent and that I intend to win and show him that the single woman in UWF can win against any man, period. And that's all I got to say about that.

With a flick of her hair, she stalks off-camera, and with a shrug and a smile, James Sinclair follows as the scene fades to black.....
