「票房天后」鄭秀文最近挑戲愈來愈審慎，她不諱言，觀眾看報得知她拿很高的片酬，對她的要求更高了。她自己也希望不單演喜劇片受歡迎，其他片種亦可嘗試。她很清楚拍文藝片會背負票房下跌的壓力，但她拍戲重質不重量，她渴望成為一個真正的演員。

Sammi今年僅拍了「嫁個有錢人」和「我左眼見到鬼」兩片，尚未敲定下一部新片何時開拍。在灌錄新唱片的同時，她接拍了一些廣告。她表示，她的皮膚偏向乾性，偶而也出現毛孔問題。自從做了護膚品代言人後，臉上肌膚變得滑溜溜，毛孔愈來愈細，她開心得不得了。

Sammi一邊聽著周杰倫的新歌，一邊拍廣告，狀態很好。為髮型問題，Sammi與髮型師商量了好半天。她堅持頭髮分界線為4分之3，不希望與上一支廣告的造型相同，結果雙方爭執3、4次，終於取得共識。而在長達8小時工作期間，正在節食的Sammi僅要求買回兩個大木瓜當午餐，並吃一塊餅乾充飢，沒吃任何零食。
