He listens to Zodiac and all the other stuff, his attention beginning to wander. Chame can only be serious for so long, and he's beginning to reach his limit - besides, much of this is a little over his head. So much abstract things to try to understand... The OldWays aren't too difficult, but this Balance stuff is simply confusing.

The arctic wolf looks at the pup just dropped off by the spirit-wolf-being-whatever. Hm. Maybe she likes to play. Probably none of these older wolves are the types who liked to have fun. They seem to be very caught up in this Balance and OldWays and other serious philosophical stuff... which was beginning to bore him juuust a bit. He tilts his head, ears pricked forward, watching Piper curiously.

Then his wayward attention is distracted again by WindChaser as she asks about magic. Now, there's something interesting... but the Elder wolf said they weren't supposed to use it for trivialities. No fun at all, but something in him urged for caution with magic - well, it always did get him into more trouble than it got himm out of anyway. He shrugs. "I can do stuff with wind and ice and whatnot," he says. "Mostly winter-type magic. That's what I learned back home, anyway. I've no idea if I can use anything else."
